Rebecca Gayheart and Eric Dane have welcomed their first child, a baby girl, a rep for the couple has announced.

The baby was born Wednesday in Los Angeles.

“Mother, father and daughter are doing great,” shared their rep.

The baby’s name was not released.

Rebecca, 38, and Eric, 37 — who wed in Las Vegas in 2004 — never formally announced the pregnancy, but Rebecca stepped out last September with a baby bump.

“I’m very curious what this next phase of my life is going to be like,” Eric told Us magazine at the 8th Annual World Poker Tour Invitational in L.A. “It’s exciting. I feel like I’ve been sort of thumbing through the last page of the same chapter for a long time now and am ready to kind of get on with it.”

Asked if they have the nursery ready, Eric said at the February 20th event, “Oh yeah! And we are packing the bag tonight!”

He previously said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he planned on being in the delivery room for the birth.

“I’m going to stay close to my wife and make sure that she is all right,” he said.

He said they even settled on a baby name, but “Rebecca wants to wait until she sees her before we give her the name.”

Of their baby’s name, Eric told Ellen DeGeneres, “We went straight down the middle with this one.”

Jenna Elfman, 38, and husband Bodhi Elfman welcomed son Easton Quinn Monroe Elfman early Tuesday morning (March 2nd) in Los Angeles.

Jenna announced the happy news via Twitter Friday, writing, “He’s an impressive sleeper (thank god!)& I’m his biggest fan. Thank you all so much for your kind words and congrats. We really appreciate it.”

This little boy joins big brother, 2 1/2-year-old Story Elias.

Jenna told E! News in October that Story was excited to meet the new baby and be a big brother.

“I’m not sure if he gets the whole boy or girl thing exactly, but ‘baby’ he gets,” Jenna said. “He’s awesome. He gives my tummy a kiss and gives it a bottle and puts the blankie over my tummy and goes, ‘Baby, night-night.’ “

Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and his wife Jools are expecting their fourth child in September, their rep has confirmed.

Jamie, best known in the U.S. for his ‘Naked Chef’ TV show, couldn’t contain his excitement and messaged his Twitter fans: “Guess what…..I’m going to be a dad again!!! We’re expecting, so happy, feel very lucky.”

The latest addition will join big sisters Poppy Honey, 8 this month, Daisy Boo, 6 1/2, and Petal Blossom Rainbow, 11 months. Jamie and Jools wed in June 2000.

“Oliver has spoken in the past of his desire for a boy in his brood. He has joked how he needs another male in the home as ‘back-up’ when he gets bossed around by the girls,” the Press Association reported.

In his online biography, Jamie says he’s never been busier in his life. “The only thing I wish I had more time for is my family — my lovely girls. Although we now have a place in the country to spend our weekends at, so I really look forward to Friday nights when we can pack up and spend the weekends together. That’s what it’s all about!” he writes.

As both Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke seek treatment for their addictions, insiders opened up to Us magazine about the pair. The couple have been in the headlines since the Christmas Day incident when Charlie threatened to kill Brooke.

After checking out of Malibu’s The Canyon rehab facility last month, Brooke Sheen, 32, is being treated at home for addictions to alcohol and drugs — including crack cocaine, sources have confirmed to Us magazine. Charlie, meanwhile, checked into rehab last week for “preventative measures,” according to sources.

Brooke is home with her 1-year-old twin sons, Bob and Max. A family friend says that Brooke’s relapse to drugs began shortly after the twins’ birth. Born severely underweight, young Max was hospitalized for weeks. “It was a really scary situation for a new mom — for any new mom — and at that point she went back to her comfort zone…she resorted to the way she handled stress in the past.”

Meanwhile, 44-year-old Charlie — who spent time in rehab in 1998 — has “slipped” back into drinking, a friend said. “He’s been depressed, drawing the shades and watching TV by himself,” the pal shared. “His idea of sobriety is ’slipping’ less than twice a month.”

And the couple, married for about two years, “stir up each other’s worst demons,” a friend said. They break out in fights over something small or some little paranoia.”

“One time, Brooke threw a Kleenex box at him because he looked at her the wrong way,” a source recalled. “He went crazy and threw an expensive plate. It was nuts!”

Singer Keyshia Cole, 28, and Cleveland Cavaliers player Daniel Gibson “are proud to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr.” It’s the first child for the R&B star.

The couple’s son was born Tuesday at 11:54 p.m., weighing 7 lbs. 3 oz. “Both mother and baby are doing great,” she added.

“The proud couple would like to thank everyone for giving them privacy during this special time. Keyshia would also like to give a special thank you to her fans that have been with her since the beginning sharing in her growth as a woman and an artist.”

Michael Douglas opens up in the new Vanity Fair about the mistakes he made with his son Cameron, and how he is trying to do a better job with his family with Catherine Zeta-Jones.  Cameron faces at least ten years in prison for trafficking meth.

Michael told Vanity Fair that the situation facing his 31-year-old son, Cameron “is one of those worst-case scenarios.”

“Anybody who has a relative or child in substance abuse has some idea of what this feels like,” Michael said. “It will ultimately be a painful lesson and very expensive as far as time is concerned. I don’t wish it on anybody, but then, you know, look, everybody’s got difficult things in life.”

Michael can’t help but see his own role in Cameron’s fate. “My priorities were very similar [to my father’s],” he said about Cameron’s formative years. “Career first.”

During Michael’s own childhood, his father, the actor Kirk Douglas, was distant and volatile to his young sons. “He was a very intense, talented survivalist,” Michael said. “He was consumed with clawing out and making something of himself, and he probably was a little early in his career to have children. Certainly didn’t get a chance to enjoy them until later in life.”

About himself, not Cameron, who also pursued acting, Michael said, “The history of second-generation actors isn’t great in our industry. It’s kind of a tragic road, actually.”

When Kirk suffered a stroke, in 1996, five years after he’d survived a helicopter collision that took two lives, he decided God was trying to punish him, and with the encouragement of his wife he started studying Torah, was Bar Mitzvahed, and began, as he put it, “an audit of my life.” Michael said that he and his father, who is 93, have never been closer, and that the stroke was the best thing to happen to him. “He’s doing scarily well,” Michael said.

Michael’s relationship with Catherine Zeta-Jones gave him the chance for a do-over at marriage and fatherhood. Catherine said their courtship “was nine months of telephone calls and surprise flowers and a dinner here and a drink there.”

Their wedding, in 2000, was greeted with snarky remarks about the 25-year age difference, Michael said: “It was thrown up at you constantly. I felt bad for her.”

Michael said that he has learned a great deal about what makes marriages work: “We always tend to be kinder or make more of an effort to strangers than we do to the person closest to us.”

For Michael, fatherhood is now a source of joy and not guilt. Catherine said that the couple is determined that their kids not be raised by nannies, and that “they need to have a consistency and schedule in their life just like every other kid. They need to form friendships, turn up on their out-of-school curriculum, do their Scouts, and their ballet, and their hip-hop.”

Of Michael’s relationship with their children–Dylan, 9, and Carys, 6, Catherine said, “I’m sure if he could breast-feed, he would have. He has more time to spend with them and to focus on them.”

Jim Carrey’s 22-year-old daughter, Jane, welcomed a son in Los Angeles Friday, a rep for Jim confirmed.

Jackson Riley Santana was born at 12:28 Friday morning and weighed in at 7 lbs., 11 oz. and is 20 inches long, the rep added.

“Something beautiful is right around the corner! ;^)” Jim, 47, posted on Twitter on Tuesday. Friday morning, he added, “right around the corner! ;^)”

Jane (Jim’s daughter with ex wife Melissa Womer) wed the baby’s father, Alex Santana, who is in the band “Blood Money” and goes by the stage name “Nitro,” in November. She fronts her own alternative rock band, The Jane Carrey Band.

After announcing her pregnancy last July, Jim told Us magazine, “I’m very excited. Jane is going to be a great mom.”

Jenny McCarthy, Jim’s girlfriend of five years, told Us magazine earlier this month that she would make an “awesome grandma.”

“The world’s best, is what I say,” Jenny, 37, joked to Us magazine.

She said Jane has been calling her for advice.

“We have an awesome relationship. I consider her my daughter,” Jenny said.

Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel shared that her pregnancy has not been “too hard,” except for one thing…

“Shooting this season without alcohol was a real achievement. It was like being in the desert without water,” Bethenny, 39, joked to Us magazine at a screening party for their Bravo show (premieres March 4th) at Tenjune in New York City Wednesday night.

The reality star — who is about 6-and-a-half-months along — said she really missed her signature “Skinny Girl” martinis.

“But now I have all these delusions that I will continue my sobriety forever,” she quipped.

Bethenny, who is engaged to businessman Jason Hoppy, told Us magazine that she “loves being pregnant.”

Her stay-fit plan includes “doing yoga 2 to 3 times per week for about an hour each time.”

“”I’m really eating what I want. Like my book says, your diet’s a bank account, but it’s just a bigger bank account now,” she continued. “And most people either go off the rails and gain 85 pounds, or they’re terrified of gaining weight and they get psycho. You’ve got to be right down the middle. So now I’m writing a book about naturally fit pregnancy. “

She’s also “rushed” planning her wedding to Hoppy, which she said will happen “very, very soon.”

Hoppy “hasn’t really had a say” about the event, which Bethenny describes as “not huge crazy, but not teeny tiny. It’ll fit my personality to a tee.”

Padma Lakshmi has welcomed a daughter, her rep has shared.

The little girl was born late Saturday in New York City, the rep added.

A source told Us magazine that the girl’s name is Krishna.

Padma, 39, has not revealed the baby’s father.

Padma’s pregnancy was considered “a medical miracle,” because Padma has struggled with endometriosis, a painful uterine condition that can lead to infertility. 

“I actually can’t button my jeans anymore,” Padma joked to Us magazine last fall when asked how her pregnancy was going. “Up until about a week ago, I could. There’s just too much pressure, so I’ve had to put them away for now.”

During her pregnancy, Padma said she hadn’t “really had any cravings. There was about a week-and-a- half when I was really craving a cinnamon donut. Then I had the cinnamon donut, and it was like, ‘Eh.’ I mean, it was OK, but that was it. And then it was over.”

After a trip to London to promote her new film Valentine’s Day last week, Jessica Alba is thrilled to be back home with her daughter! Jessica posted new pictures on Twitter of Honor taken at her Los Angeles home.

One pic shows Honor, 20-months-old, trying on a pair of black-rimmed specs while sitting on her mother’s knee. 

Alongside the picture, Jessica wrote, “My lil lovely cute as a button.”

Another pic shows Honor in the backyard wearing a T-shirt that reads, “My heart belongs to Ellen DeGeneres.”

Jessica’s message read, “Cutest Valentine’s Day photo. Thanks to The Ellen Show 4 providing the wardrobe. Hahaha.”

Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart’s first child is almost here, and Eric said he’s thrilled at the prospect of welcoming a daughter.

“It just makes sense that I’m having a girl … I don’t know what it is, but I am excited it’s a girl,” Eric told People magazine at Monday night’s premiere of Valentine’s Day at Hollywood’s Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

Asked if they have a name picked out, Rebecca replied: “We have a couple of names, but we’re going to wait and meet the baby before we name.”

Rebecca’s doctor was actually at the premiere, too – which was just a coincidence, though Eric was happy about it. “I think she’s ready to go!” he said of his wife.

Eric, 37, and Rebecca, 38, also reminisced about their previous Valentine’s Days together.

“We baked a cake on our first Valentine’s Day, remember that?” Eric said.

“We did bake a cake!” Rebecca said.

“It was a chocolate cake with a white frosting on it, right? It was lopsided and kind of messed up, and we ate the whole thing.”

And Rebecca likes to keep it simple on Valentine’s Day. “She never wanted anything but a card from me,” Eric said, “which I thought was kind of weird, because I kind of like to buy stuff … And she said, ‘No, I want a card.’ “

On his official website, Matthew McConaughey, 40, and girlfriend Camila Alves have released the first photo of their baby girl, Vida, who was born on January 3rd in Los Angeles (she weighed in at 7 lbs., 7 oz.).

“Our latest family member, Vida Alves McConaughey,” Matthew wrote under the baby’s photo.

Camila told Us Weekly that the baby “is doing great.”

“It’s easier with the second child, because, you know what she’ll be like,” said Camila, 27, who welcomed their first child, son Levi, in 2008.

She said their 19-month-old son is “at the fun stage where he’s talking. He loves saying Vida’s name!”

Matthew couldn’t be a more doting dad, she added.

Said Camila, “To see a father with his child is beautiful.”
